Scriveiner Classic Black Lacquer fountain Pen - Fine Nib

Using the Scriveiner Fountain Pen is an exceptional experience. I have owned fountain pens before, and this fountain pen surprised me with its quality. Frankly, I did not expect such a high quality tip for the price. You will notice a difference if you alternate between writing with the fountain pen on a single sheet of paper on a hard surface or on a pad of paper but generally, it is an exceptional writing experience. It is a pleasure to handle the pen. The weight is perfect, not too weighty and not too light. Also, based on another users review, I ordered a FINE point on the pen even though I wanted a MEDIUM in practice. That has actually worked. It does write with a slightly broader line than you imagine. So if you actually want a Medium, I suggest you buy the FINE point. This pen is a great buy for the price.

The pen, itself, I would say is almost exquisitely done, overall. Fountain pens usually take a little bit to "break in" and "mold" to the original user's style of writing - I certainly wouldn't say that I have adapted this one, just yet, but it's something that takes a little time and use.Durability? What can I say? It is comprised of lacquered metal and 'machined' quite smoothly.Versatile? Considering I only use a fountain pen for writing - not so much for calligraphy or drawing - I would say that it does its job quite well.Color? I certainly can't say anything negative, there, either. But I did also just order a simple black/"standard", since I have long been a little more traditional.The one and only thing I am not a big fan of, myself, is the ink that comes with it. In said aspect, I do suggest that anyone buying this thing also find an ink (especially for the refillable converter) that suits your necessities.
