Scriveiner Classic British Racing Green fountain Pen - Medium Nib

Smooth to write with, barrel could be a little larger. Medium nib is perfect. British Racing Green is too dark to my eye.

This was a gift from my niece. It is a beautiful pen with great weight and very smooth writing. I am using the adapter with Birmingham ink, and it is perfect. The top has a lovely snug fit without any "snapping in." I've had it for over a month and it writes as well as it did the day I put the adapter in. I did not try the prefilled cartridge. I have the British racing green with chrome version and it has a beautiful, sophisticated look. It was a fabulous gift that I am really enjoying.

The medium point Scriveiner I just purchased brings me back to when thinking, composing, and fashioning cursive letters on a sheet of paper was an intrinsically satisfying activity, when one's handwriting, and the color of the ink, and thickness of the nib were an integral of what was being communicated with the words. It's nice to have that experience back. The smooth action of the pen, with its pleasant weight, keeps pace with my mind in a way that typing on a soulless plastic keyboard never can. The customer service was also smooth and seamless, when I needed to return my first purchase to get a pen with a thicker barrel that fits my hand better. Nice company, quality pen.

Has amazing colors and materials, build quality feels very good. Writes very smoothly and was very easy to set up initially. Love how it feels in the hand, would enthusiastically recommend to others.

This is an outstanding writing tool! The British Racing Green is beautiful. The pen’s weight is just right; I’ve had a couple that were too light and just didn’t seem to work like I wanted them to. I got the medium nib and it glides smoothly on whatever surface I’m writing on, but I think I might go for the small nib the next time around for more precision. I haven’t tried the refillable converter yet, but that’s the plan for the future.
