Better than expected. Superb quality.

I am always apprehensive when buying so called "luxury" pens, but this one surprised me. I have tried several models from Colibri, Dunhill, and one MontBlanc, but hated the way each one of those would write (granted the MontBlanc was a fountain pen so it's not apples to apples). They always looked absolutely gorgeous but would write like crap. I never understood that. This Scrivener, however, is amazing. It has the looks, no doubt, but writes so well. It puts the ink on the paper in a predictably smooth way and is comfortable in my hand. The way it writes reminds me of a cross between the Uni-ball, G-2, and the ink-joy paper mate click top. All without the excess ink leaking out the Uni-ball had, or the bleeding I experience with the Uni-ball, and G-2. I will buy several more before they become more expensive.
