5.0 out of 5 stars Great pen. Even better customer service!July 25, 2024The above was posted by Michael--should read his post, I concur with everything.I have a collection of FPens collected over a period of 50 years. Vintage (don't really use) and modern expensive to modern cheap.SCRIVEINER: Great Customer service--I never had a company respond so quickly and efficiently and warmly!!PENS: I rotate my FPens, I keep them on their sides If I pick up a pen and it doesn't write, it goes to the end of the Ultrasound clean line (currently rotating one/week) .........If a pen fails after cleaning, It goes to the "collection" and is replaced with a different pen. The cost of the Pen does not seem to correlate with longevity. I mix in disposable (did I say that?) pens and you'd be surprised how well a 90 cent fountain pen works! The Scriveiner pens are my front runners. I have two that remain in circulation without cleaning for >1 year. Most pens need cleaning after about 6-10 months.. I recently put my MB 149 back into rotation after complete over haul.....we will see how it stands up to the Scriveiners. (parenthetically I use mostly MB Midnight blue as my go to ink)In summary: go get yourself some Scriveiners. I just received one with my name engraved..........Beautiful, writes great.
