I purchased this as a gift who sold her very first home to me in her budding real estate career. I wanted her to have a good business pen and I went a local pen store to also buy her a beutiful blue Ink called Sailor Ink that really seemed to flow through the pen incredibly well. The man at the pen shop was so impressed that he logged onto Amazon and was planning to buy one for himself and even inquire into getting the brand as a product for them to carry.Yes, I took the pen for a few spins to make sure I liked it, and I have to say the weight was nice and the writing came out quite incredible. It is sad to note that the pen is UK designed, but farmed out for manufacturing to China. I did not see that when I ordered it and found something to cover up the obnoxious "Made in China" label that ruined the look of the box. UK pen made in China really makes the pen seem not quite so nice. I would also love to see some more creative pen bodies to go with these pens.I did buy another pen from a local pen maker myself on the day I purchased the ink for this pen, however I will be going back and researching this brand for my own personal use the next time I am ready to add yet another pen to my collection.I highly recommend this pen as a gift because it is quality and does make a statement (once the Made in China is covered). I also remommend this for personal use.
