The cigar-shaped body is slimmer than our Classic. It is evenly balanced, so it feels comfortable from the first line, even if this is your first fountain pen ever..
The medium nib and feed are Scriveiner's own, developed in-house over years of testing. The nib starts cleanly and lays down ink evenly, without skipping or flooding.
A medium nib writes a confident, readable line and is forgiving while your hand finds its angle. That makes the Daily a natural starter fountain pen, and one that experienced writers may find themselves reaching for too.
Filling takes a minute. The converter is already fitted, so you dip the nib in a bottle of ink, turn the converter, and the pen is ready. If you would rather not use bottled ink yet, two cartridges, one black and one blue, are in the box.
As a refillable fountain pen, it will take the bottled inks you go on to try, and the airtight cap stops the nib drying out between uses.
