The Scriveiner Lined Notebook is a lined notebook for people who still write things out by hand. We made it because the fountain pens we use every day needed paper that let them perform, and finding it took months.
It shares its paper with the dotted notebook, with a ruling suited to longhand.
On uncoated paper, ink meets the fibres directly, so each line settles naturally into the page, revealing the true size of the written line. This 100 GSM Japanese paper is also acid-free, so pages stay sound for years, and off-white, which is gentler on the eye than bright white.
In our testing, it writes without ghosting, feathering, or bleed-through, even with wetter nibs and more liquid inks, which keeps both sides of every page in this 100 gsm notebook usable. Our guide to how fountain pen paper performs goes further into why.
Lines keep long handwriting even, page after page. Spaced 7mm apart, they suit a daily journal, a letter you mean to finish properly, or meeting notes you want to read back later.
If you prefer more freedom on the page, the dotted version uses the same paper.
